Family Medicine

Family Medicine physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners are primary care providers. They are medical specialists who provide comprehensive primary health care to people of all ages, from birth to advanced years. They are able to diagnose and treat the vast majority of common illnesses and injuries, as well as provide preventive care. Family Medicine providers place special emphasis on the care of families and refer patients to specialists and other community resources when necessary.
