Shawn M. Severson, MD

Shawn M. Severson, MD received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis. She then completed her residency training at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Dr. Severson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Her medical interests include abnormal bleeding, atypical pap smear management, ultrasound, and high risk pregnancy. Shawn grew up in southeastern Minnesota and she and her husband, Andy, have two young boys, Aidan and Soren. She enjoys spending time with her family, riding her motorcycle, and doing anything outdoors.

Anne G. Gilbertson, MS, CNM

Anne G. Gilbertson, MS, CNM, received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Nursing from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Anne later graduated from Philadelphia University in Philadelphia, PA with her Master of Science degree in Nurse-Midwifery in 2011. Anne's special practice interests include health care for women from adolescence through menopause, pregnancy, labor and delivery, prenatal education, family planning, and breastfeeding counseling. Anne and her husband, Chad, have two sons, Owen and Gavin. She enjoys being outdoors with her family, biking, fishing, and swimming at the lake.
